This contemporary turkey sold yesterday at The Dutch Art Gallery Dallas TX.Thanks to owner Pam Massar who sold it to a collector from out of state. Also a big thanks to Mimi....who encouraged me to paint a turkey several months ago, a creature that had not made it to my easel until I was asked to do a commission. I have painted many roosters and chickens, but for some reason, the Tom Turkey had not been attempted. Thanks for viewing my blog...we have returned from a eight day trip to Maine, so I have some ideas and wonderful inspiration for some new paintings! Thanks, Kay
