Painted on a 12 x 12" hard panel with 1.5" deep edges.
My daughters used to show their pygmy goats with 4H at our
local fair every August. We had quite a few pygmy goats
and even bred some of them. All goats are sweet, but we had one
particular fellow who inspired this painting. From the time he
was a baby he loved to sit on my lap and get his back scratched.
For the rest of his life he would come sit on my
lap for scratches, even after he got to be over 60 pounds!
