Buffalo

Hey! First off let me say how excited I am to be a part of this group. I have enjoyed looking at the artwork and hope I can live up to the high standard established on this blog.
This piece is an Acrylic on canvas that measures 36 x 48" and is fairly close to being done. Even though the buffalo is at rest there is a tension that implies great strength and the simply rendered groundwork suggest the great, wide open lands of Eastern Colorado and Wyoming that I love so much.
This has been a fun painting to work on I hope you enjoy it too. Thanks, Greg
