Currently hanging at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, TX.

This painting has a vivd color palette and wide brush strokes on the canvas. This bison is looking through a fence...my inspiration was a photograph taken by Mark Malone somewhere in Northern New Mexico.  The photograph was passed around, and three artists painted from the same photograph, with amazingly different results.  That is what is so cool about art....if it is created from within yourself, it is totally yours....your art does not look like any other art out there.  Thanks for viewing this blog and the art posted.  If you want to contact me, kay@kwyne.com will do it!  KMW

Heart of the West Invitational Art Show and Sale.

It takes place this coming September 9 - 18 in Lander, Wyoming.

I will have the above painting, "Fire and Rain", 

and one other painting, for sale in the show.

Update: The Heart of the West Show was canceled this year.
Hopefully it will take place again next year.
