I worked on this little painting yesterday in the studio...I have painted this mid-western piggy several times....this one was on a small canvas.  He is walking through the grass, looking around. I remember the day that I took the pic of this guy on an Amish farm in Illinois, several years ago.  The oils are thick and juicy, with brush strokes and texture. I'm excited to be part of this group show which 
features art that celebrates the spirit of animals.

The show will run from September 1 - 27, 2015.

The artists' reception is September 12, 6 - 9 pm.
